Can the music save your mortal soul? (BLOG THREAT LEVEL: Nada -- Updated 2/18/2010)

Someone in the family had to go to the hospital who doesn't have insurance, just like me, and now they're stuck with a hefty bill and pretty much no money. Now get this. They apply for medicaid but are rejected. And this is what they are told:

1. They're not pregnant, and;
2. They don't have a kid.

So this person is one of the few left on the planet who is responsible and they can't get medicaid cause they're.... fuckin' responsible? I am utterly mindfucked.
